BLINK Dance Theatre is thrilled to announce the receipt of a grant totalling £114,000 from Paul Hamlyn Foundations’ Arts-based Learning Fund. This substantial funding, distributed over three years, will support the national expansion of BLINK’s ‘relentlessly inclusive’ NURTURE programme, reinforcing their commitment to neurodiverse-led education work in SEND settings. The grant will also enable the growth of their POLLINATE programme; an empowering training programme designed to equip emerging neurodiverse facilitators with the necessary tools to independently facilitate and develop their own practice. 

As we gear up for the exciting plans we have for 2024, we are taking a moment to reflect on our incredible accomplishments of 2023 - our 10th anniversary year. We are proud of all that we have achieved and we couldn't have celebrated our milestone year any better!

So far, we have delighted audiences in Oxford, London, Leicester, Bradford and Edinburgh with our five-star show, ELVIS DIED OF BURGERS. If you haven’t been able to join us for this ‘creative feast’ yet, we are delighted to announce two more opportunities to catch the show - plus one bite-sized extra.

We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in our bid to become Cultural Anchor Tenants at ‘Space 52’; a space at New Mansion Square which will act as our home base and the centre of our outreach and engagement programmes from early 2024.

We are excited to share that we are one of the recipients of the third annual Eclipse Award, presented by Eclipse Theatre Company and Summerhall. This award is supporting six new productions being performed at Summerhall during this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe, including our show ELVIS DIED OF BURGERS.

We are looking for more artists with learning disabilities to join our teaching team for paid, ad-hoc work!

We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed as one of the National Youth Theatre’s new Associate Companies! We will be collaborating with NYT over the next two years to champion our work and create more opportunities for their national network of 14,000 young creative people.
