ITS MY MOVE
It’s My Move is a collaborative Theatre in Education project with Face Front. The production travels around SEND schools and colleges and performs to learning disabled audiences in theatres and community centres.
The show is vibrant and upbeat using theatre, dance, video, poetry/rap and MAKATON to convey an important and relevant message to students about transitioning from school or college and making important choices about their futures.
The ‘Forum Theatre’ style section at the end involves audience members coming onto stage and helping the characters to advocate for themselves and make better decisions. The show has been a huge success over the years and saw many students gaining confidence to make their voices heard, and saw lots of parents and social workers attending too.
