We’re Bringing the Paaaarty to Shambala Festival!

We are brushing off our wellies this week and heading off to Shambala Festival! As the festival celebrates it’s 25th anniversary, we’re excited to be bringing our inclusive work to the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside. You’ll catch us at Rebel Soul, the place to feed your fire and reconnect with your hope, as part of two events presented by our friends, Touretteshero.

We Have to Fight, For Our Right, to Paaaaaaaarty!

Francis will be leading a participatory session for all ages, using the memories of his favourite party to explore the power and possibilities partying together can open up. Expect music, dancing and disabled joy!

The We Are Here! Cabaret

The We Are Here! Cabaret is a bold and joyful celebration of disability culture, creativity and resistance.

Francis will be bringing his new act DJ Tomato - a juicy rollercoaster of food-related dance skits spanning salsa, hip-hop, and rock genres and a tickle of his cheeky drag antics.

He’ll be joining a packed line-up of music, dance, and spoken word artists, including emerging and established disabled, neurodivergent and chronically ill artists. Expect surreal tics, laughter and space to be yourself.

If you’re heading to the festival, be sure to look out for us! (And if you’re not and the fear of missing out is getting to you, tickets are still available here.)
