Join BLINK in new Freelance Operations and Administration Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive freelancer to provide administrative and operational support across the team. This role will report to the General Manager, Kel Grogan, and will work closely with the core team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, effective documentation, and strong organisational systems.
Commitment: 3 days per week (flexible working arrangement)
Role Length: until 31 March 2026, with possibility to extend
Rate: £200/day
Location: Remote/Hybrid (as required), with some flexibility to be on call for hires
Key Role Responsibilities
Organisational Systems and Record-Keeping
Prepare, review, and manage contracts, job descriptions, and agreement templates (employment, freelance, and production)
Maintain shared contact databases, ensuring emergency contact information and key directories are accessible and current
Organise and streamline digital filing systems (e.g. shared drives, folders, permissions).
Studio Operations
Support the smooth running of the studio by keeping the space organised, managing supplies and equipment, coordinating cleaners or repairs, and ensuring health & safety checks and visitor needs are covered.
General Administrative Support
Provide flexible administrative support across HR, finance, general operations and producing as needed.
Skills and Experience
At least 2 years’ experience in an administrative, HR, or office support role
Confident managing contracts, onboarding documents, and compliance records
Strong organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and similar tools
Experience managing the day-to-day running of a studio/venue
Excellent written communication skills
Able to work independently and use initiative with minimal supervision
